SCHEDULING

• The Coastal Pop Warner League creates the schedule for all the associations
  
• We typically have our season schedule announced the last week in August, only a few days before our first game. 
  
• For the past 5 years, football season has kicked off over Labor Day weekend and likely will again this year. 
  
• The season schedule will be posted here on the website, Facebook site, and entered into the Game Changer app.  
  
  

• Compete in 2 to 3 competitions
  
  • Locals in October
    
  • Regionals in November (Concord, NC)
    
  • Possibly a third competition in December is we qualify (Charlotte, NC)

• Games are held on Saturdays
  
  • ​​Sideline Cheer for Football games Saturdays in Sept & Oct (times vary)
    
• Panther’s “home field” located at Veterans Park or Myrtle Grove Middle School
  
• Away games can be held at the following locations:
  
  • Brunswick Ravens - North Brunswick High School or South Brunswick High School
  • Coastal Bengals - Heidi Trask High School (Rocky Point)
    
  • Coastal Cowboys - Ogden Park
    
  • Pender Patriots - Pender High School
    
  • Topsail Pirates - Kiwanis Park, Hampstead
    
  • United Lions- Legion Stadium
    
• If you have multiple kids playing in different age groups or kids in both football and cheer – sometimes you will have a kid at one game in one part of the county and another kid at a completely different game in another part of the county.  It can get hectic traveling from place to place.  Get to know the other parents on the team so you can share rides or offer to share rides. ​​
